"Method ‘Post’ of object ‘IOWSPostData’ failed” error while attempting Excel 2010 spreadsheet import to SharePoint 2010

The work arounds suggested requires lVER Setting change in "EXPTOOWS.XLA" (Excel Add-in) in every client Machine. Please suggest a server side workaround to enable the import functionality in all the client Machines.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2596991/en-us suggested for Office 2007 will work for office 2010 as well.
