My environment is using the distributive administration model (IT does not centrally manage Site Collection administration). There is a great need to find a way to quickly identify the Site Collection Administrator for any of the 2000+ collections we have.
Is there a way to surface this information and display it on the site's home page?
1. Web Part: I tried using the Site User's WP but cannot call the SCA.
2. Coded approach: Is there a bit of code that can be used in either a CEWP or inserted into the MP that will perform the lookup and present the SCA's name (with Presence would be wonderful) inside of the page?
Finding this solution will solve about 18% of the total helpdesk monthly tickets and reduce our 2nd tier's resource time devoted to looking up the SCA for people.
