Projects Web Database Error: System.Threading.ThreadAbortException

Hello, Everyone,

I'm running into an issue with a Projects Web Database on my farm. I have a user who has created a database successfully, but after it was created and she started entering data, she began experiencing the following errors:

"Operation cannot be completed. This application is locked while it is being updated. Try again later, or contact a site owner."

"Cannot execute query '_sq_fProjectDS_1' because it had not yet compiled"

and then finally, "The service is not currently available. Click here to try again."

Looking in the ULS logs, I see the following error that occurred along with each of these prompts:

AccessPortal.ExecuteWebMethodHandler - An unhandled internal exception has occurred: System.Threading.ThreadAbortException: Thread was being aborted.     at System.Web.HttpServerUtility.ExecuteInternal(IHttpHandler handler, TextWriter writer, Boolean preserveForm, Boolean setPreviousPage, VirtualPath path, VirtualPath filePath, String physPath, Exception error, String queryStringOverride)     at System.Web.HttpServerUtility.Execute(IHttpHandler handler, TextWriter writer, Boolean preserveForm, Boolean setPreviousPage)     at System.Web.HttpServerUtility.Execute(IHttpHandler handler, TextWriter writer, Boolean preserveForm)     at Microsoft.Office.Access.Server.UI.PageChopper.GetPageContent(String pageName, String parentId, SharedDataBaseInfo dataBaseInfo)     at Microsoft.Office.Access.Server.UI.AccessPortal.GetSubFormInternal(SharedDataBaseInfo dataBaseInfo, GetSubFormParameter parameter)     at Microsoft.Office.Access.Server.UI.AccessPortal.<GetSubForm>b__0(SharedDataBaseInfo database, Object param)     at Microsoft.Office.Access.Server.UI.AccessPortal.ExecuteWebMethodHandler(CoreWebMethodHandler coreWebMethodHandler, SharedDataBaseInfo dataBaseInfo, Object param, Boolean writeOperation). Please open a bug.

The "Please open a bug." at the end of the error is a bit interesting...

The more interesting thing is that, if I create a projects database and then enter data, I don't see these issues. So, I wonder if this may be a permissions issue, though i haven't seen any documentation regarding specific rights required to create a web database (though I may have just missed them). My user account is a farm admin, while her user account is a regular user, but she also has Full Control rights in the site where she created the database.

Has anyone else experienced this type of issue? I'm pretty new to web databases in SharePoint -- this is the first one we've attempted to deploy, so any guidance would be greatly appreciated. (oh, and by the way, I did set up the Access Service service application, started the Access Database Service on the server, enabled ASP.Net Session State Service, and did an IISRESET (just in case) prior to attempting to work with the database.)

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide!
