Our home page has a few web parts on it, including a Calendar web part and two Excel Web Access web parts. I just joined the team, so I don't know how long the problem has been going on, but apparently clicking an event in the calendar will not work. It works fine in the calendar list though. I created a blank page, and threw the Calendar web part on it, and I was able to open events with no trouble. I checked the home page to see if there was custom javascript, and there was not. I decided to recreate the home page from scratch. I added the Calendar web part, and then started adding the other web parts one by one, testing the Calendar each time to see when/if it would break. When I added the Excel Web Access web parts, and connected them to a workbook, it stopped working.
To clarify what I mean by "not working". When I click an event, the ribbon changes as though an event is clicked, but the modal does not pop up, and the mouse pointer acts weird. It almost seems as though I clicked and dragged, as when I move the pointer to certain areas, the red circle with the slash shows. I have to right click, ctrl+tab/alt+tab to make it act normal again. I tried to post a screen shot, but apparently I cannot yet.
Is there any reason why the Excel Web Access web parts would be interfering with the Calendar web part?
