Evening,
We used to have have AD Properties mapped to UPS such as office and telephone number, we upgraded to July CU 2014 and have only just noticed that the properties are no longer mapped to AD.
We have tested it by changing some data in AD and running a full sync. Has anyone else seen this?
If i try to map it back again it is missing from the Connections drop down?

Hi,
I have a document library that contains a choice column. I have 6 titles for those choices. This allows a document to be uploaded under the title of choice and those documents can be expanded or collapsed after I used the "group by" option for that column. Is there a way to re-order those titles in the choice column?
I recently was able to add an order column on a regular document library and then hide the column but I don't think it works for what I need now.

I created an Asset Library and have several pictures posted in the library.
I have then created a site column to lookup the picture title.
I have a list that uses the site column to lookup the name of the picture and add it to the list.
I am wondering how I can have a thumbnail view of the picture in the standard view and the datasheet view.
It would also be great to have the thumbnail available when exporting to Excel.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I have a team site in SP 2010 and I need to display few of the Charts from an excel sheet to that site home page. Is this something that can be done using Performance point services , a chart web part or Excel Services in SharePoint or any other method?
Basically, I know that Excel services would be used to display the part or full workbook on a SharePoint Site. But for my requirement of showing up a few charts on home page from Excel Sheet. Is there a necessity of Performance Point Services?
I need some expert advise in deciding on how to go about this and which one to use and how to?

Hi All,
I have one problem where one user from another domain is openning his Mysite and seeing his "Domain\UserID" at top right corner, instead of his Display name. I checked the Miisclient and found error for this user Error: "ma-extension-error".
Also when this user try to upload his Profile pic in mysite, he gets an error saying "Please try again later, there was some problem".

I have a few user that appear to be causing this event on my sharepoint server and can not figure out why ..
they are uploading a document and consistantly getting prompted for credentials .. they can hit cancel and the doc uploads with out issue .. I do not have any workflow turned on. The site is in trusted sites ... not sure where else to look
We are getting an error on all four SharePoint front-end servers several hundred times per day. It looks like it is user initiated. In other words, it looks like it happens when a user tries to do something rather than when the system tries to do something. When it occurs, it points to a specific Office document, Excel, Word, or PowerPoint.

I have a document library filled with over 800 document sets. I need a automatic versionning system for the library and I figured my solution was to use a custom Workflow.
So I created a workflow in Sharepoint Designer with only one step: "Capture a version of the document set". The Workflow is setup to start at any modification or creation in the list.
My problem is that every time the workflow run, it creates 10 identical versions of the same document set instead of 1. I tried capturing the version manually and it captures only one version (as it should).
Any idea?

This is regarding SharePoint 2010 Search Refiners for people search.
When I click on Show More option in Job Title or Building name Refiner, it doesn't expand and all I see is javascript error popping in IE status bar.
'Microsoft.SharePoint.Taxonomy.ScriptForWebTaggingUI' is null or not an objectOn further investigation, I noticed that this happens when search results count is above 50. For anything below 50 results, the refiners work absolutely fine. Moreover, the issue is present with one site collection, rest seem to be working fine.
I have tried to reproduce issue under broken site collection using new enterprise search centre (as sub site) but still no luck.

In Win 7.0 you have document properties displayed in Columns (Name, Date modified, Type. Size as default and can add additional columns.
I have added Categories and want to set up the same column in SharePoint so that the property "Categories" is the same.
Can anyone tell me if there is a standard document property that I can add in SharePoint 2013 so that it then appears in synchronised copy in the "Categories" column.
How to /where to find the last login details of SSRS sharepoint user. Is there any table where we can check the last login details of user. --- I looked at other folks problems -- I did not set up the Sharepoint but ran into the 5000 item limit in June 2014. I recreated that DB -- log -- empty-== 0 items and was able to add new log items. I used Sharepoint designer. I DO NOT have Admin privieliges to Sharepoint on the IT server, but need to tell IT the problem so they can repair the problem.

I am very new to SharePoint and have been researching for 2 weeks if it has the capability I am looking for but cannot seem to find an answer. What I am trying to do is to take a spreadsheet, or SharePoint list, with several pieces of information for multiple buildings on a campus and create summary pages for each specific building. Does SharePoint have the ability to lookup data from a list and use it to autofill page tables? Essentially I would like to create a page with tables and have the data for those tables pull from the SharePoint list, similar to linking cells in an Excel spreadsheet.
I have played around with adding webparts and formatting the page, but there doesn't seem to be an intuitive way to bring in one line of data to fill a table cell. Please let me know if what I am looking to do is possible and provide any recommendations or instructions on how to accomplish this.
