In SharePoint 2010 the "Checked Out to Me" view no longer works correctly (returns no results) for standard users.
We have recently migrated from SharePoint 2007 to 2010 using the database attach method. In SharePoint 2007 any user could use the views found within the Site Content and Structure site and we encouraged staff to use the "Checked Out to Me" views as it provided a convenient and powerful method to manage documents.
When we access the Site Content and Structure page using an account with contribute permissions the "Checked Out to Me" view return no results.
- Users with contribute permissions can successfully access the site and select all relevant views with no results returned.
When we access the Site Content and Structure page using an account with Site Owner permissions the "Checked Out to Me" view works correctly.
- Users with owner permissions can view all documents checked out across the entire site collection
The publishing feature is enabling on the site collection.
It would seem there is a permission or impersonation issue occurring but I am finding it difficult to find information on this topic to troubleshoot further.
