I'm fairly new to the reporting capabilities in SharePoint so i was hoping someone could point me in the general direction for my requirements.
I have a publishing site that implements page ratings and social comments and I would like to report on this information. I understand that directly querying the database is not recomended so I was wondering if there is a supported way to generate reports on this information.
At the moment the site does not use any reporting capabilities though Reporting Services is an option for us. I have been able to find information detailling how to report on SharePoint list information but wasn't sure how this could be applied to the Social Data information.
I'm looking for advice on a good approach as opposed to an actual solution so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
