Central Admin DB Very Large

Hi Guys

I'm about a month away from launching a new 2010 farm in our company, and while on our SQL Server, happened to notice that the Central Admin DB is 35Gb!

Note - this is NOT the "config" database - that's about 2Gb - this is the Content Database for Central Administration which is huge.

SQL reports that there's only about 25% space that can be re-claimed from a shrink operation, and although I've reclaimed space from the log file (800Mb > 200Mb) the DB sitting at 35Gb can't be right can it?

Any reason this has happened?
