A user accidentally deleted a list yesterday and it went to the recycle bin. We recovered it but when we did, we started getting an unexpected error message with a correlation ID. I traced that back to a missing column for End Time that is in every calendar appointment set up for a calendar in this list. So, I created a new column with the same name and added it to the list so it was an available field.
My problem is that the data that was in the field I need to recover and I have not found a way to do so. I had restored WSS_Content database to a new database on the SQL box and tried importing the data into the list but that did not help. Is there any good way to do this? If anyone needs more information, please let me know. I am not a Sharepoint guru by any means, but I have been tasked with recovering this data.
