Dear Forum,
we use managed metadata columns in custom content types and list definitions. Everything works as expected except editing values of managed metadata fields via the UI.
As soon as a user edits a list item via editform.aspx and tries to delete one term from a taxonomyfieldmulti field, it is very likely that he
- accidentaly deletes other terms, although he marks the right term to delete only
- not the entire term is actually selected, leaving behind fragments of the term lable string which are then added to the term set although it is closed.
Unfortunately I could not find any posts describing similar symptoms on the net, so I like to ask whether somebody else has encountered these symptoms or if there even is a known solution.
