I have a colleague who recently had to change her password. After she did this she tried to log into SharePoint and was unable to do so. Restarting her computer or logging out/in did not seem to help this issue, and she was repeatedly locked out of her machine, and had to be unlocked by IT. Sometimes, after being unlocked, she can get back into SharePoint, but this seems to be erratic as she'll log out and log back in and not be able to access SharePoint again. Using my login from her machine I was able to access SharePoint without any issues.
Has anyone seen this issue before? Is this a SharePoint problem or Active Directory? Could it be a bad setting in the Group Policy? The IT department does not know much about SharePoint and I am honestly mystified by some of the vagaries of Active Directory.
