Hi Everyone,
The User Information List for a particular site collection stopped syncing. When I add users to a site/SP group at a site on this site collection, the user is not added to the UIL (i checked /_catalogs/users). If I use the "Check Permissions" button at the site permissions page, and search for the user I added, I can see the user has been granted the permissions accordingly to the site or group, but since the user is not in the UIL, the user does not shows up in the permission "group", hence I can't also remove the permissions (unless I use extra help from powershell). As an additional consecuence, the "select people and groups" dialog box does not finds the user.
This happens only at one site collection on both, staging and production environments. This actually makes sense since the staging site collection's database is a copy brought over from Production.
I tested everywhere else (other site collections which don't share database), and everything works fine there (the UIL gets synced as should).
Any ideas on how to fix this?
For what is worth, we upgraded from MOSS 07' to SP 2010 at the beginning of 2013. Everything else has been working fine since then; I can't really tell if the issue has been present since the upgrade or if this is something recent.
