I am using Sharepoint 2010 with Windows 7.
When I click Open With Explorer in the Sharepoint library, nothing seems to happen. (1st PROBLEM)
But when I go to Windows Explorer, interestingly, I can see the library listed in the left navigation column (listed as a sub-folder under Computer).
I can use the left nagivation column in Windows Explorer to navigate the Sharepoint library without any problem - i.e. I can click the left-side arrow to explode the Sharepoint library to show its sub-folders and click the sub-folders to see their content in the Windows Explorer right column.
HOWEVER, in in the Windows Explorer RIGHT column, when I try to double-click sub-folders, they won't open. (2nd PROBLEM)
The Windows Explorer RIGHT column problem above is just for the folders. Double-clicking files works fine - they can get opened.
I think the 1st and 2nd PROBLEM are related.
Anyone can replicate this? Any way to fix the problem?
I think it is the same error as found in Vista previously and documented in this KB:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/977262
The same error seems to have come back to Windows 7.
