Adding video but requires silverlight download?

Hello,

I have searched everywhere and I can't seem to find an answer.

I want to add a welcome video to my site.

I've gone into the page and clicked on edit, went to the Insert tab then clicked on Video and Audio (adding video webpart I believe). All is well, just need to configure. But I noticed that when other people looked at it, there is a requirement for them to download Silverlight and I don't want them to do this (I had already done that).

How can I add one video (which I can link to a video in a library) so that it's sitting there when someone visits the site and all they have to do is click on it to play without:

  1. requiring them to download Silverlight
  2. I don't particularly want to embed the video using YouTube, I'd rather have the video located in a library.

Thank you,

Mel
