Content Query Web Part not appearing on generating site template pages

<p>Hi there!</p><p>I have a site which holds a list, and will be generating subsites which provide a filtered view of the list using the content query web part.&nbsp; We are using MOSS but publishing has not been activated.</p><p></p><p>I created a subsite, and setup document libraries without issue.&nbsp; I managed to get the content query web part setup to display a filtered view of the top site's list.</p><p>Everything looked great, so I then chose &gt; Save as Template, and a template site has been generated.&nbsp; </p><p>However, when I created a new site using this template the Content Query web parts do not appear.&nbsp; Is this a known issue?&nbsp; Would like to avoid having to insert web parts for every subsite that we setup.</p><p>Thank you for any assistance!</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
