Cannot see a deployed Sharepoint 2010 package

Hello and thanks for providing me with insight.

I am having a problem with not seeing a wsp package after it is deployed in Sharepoint 2010. I do see an entry in the Sharepoint Central Administration -> Systems Setting (on the left)  -> Manage Farm Solutions.

However, I do not see this solution under the Manage Farm Features to Activate. I even created a web.config entry for both Sharepoint 80 and 48496 port with the following entry and restarted the IIS services.

Am I missing something?

This is a solution provided by MSDN for Sharepoint 2007 which I rebuilt for Sharepoint 2010 using .NET framework 3.5 and Visual Studio 2012.

Would appreciate insight. I am trying to create a solution to view a list of users who access a certain document or folder.
