Task List send email notification on button click

Hi

I have a task list in SharePoint 2010. I want a button to be visible next to each task on the default view. Where the creator of the task can click, and it will send an reminder email to the "Assigned to" field user. We need this to enable the task owners to send reminders whenever they want, manually. Please suggest the right approach for this. is it possible using the new client object model or we need to write any custom solution?
