Expiration Policy timer job clearing the "Expiration Date"

Hi,

I am trying to apply out-of-box expiration policy

I have set the settings as "created date + 1 days" and set as "send to recycle bin"

When i run the "Information management policy job" it sets correct expiration dates

But when i run the "Expiry Policy" job , it clears the expiration dates of all documents instead of sending to recycle bin

PS: My site template is "Record Centre"

Any pointers would be highly appreciated
