XSLT list view webpart added in a webpartzone (like calendar,announcements) in Pagelayout giving list id does not exist error

i have created a pagelayout  in my parent site and added webpart zone and inside that an xsltlistview webpart in page layout(via SPD).

Now when i created a page in my subsite using the above pagelayout it is giving me list does not exist error, i tried using listid as "0000-..." in pagelayout but didnt worked ,Then i removed list id parameter from pagelayout and provided list url as list/calendar but no result .It always gives me lsit does not exist error(I have althese lists in my subsites too).

The issue is only when i add xslt list view webpart others(content editor webpart etc) are working fine for me

Any pointers to this error would be highly appreciated
