I know that I can use Excel Power Query to connect to a Sharepoint List. But I don't seem to be able to do the same to a SharePoint document library. Why is that? I can open a document library and select "export to Excel" and it works just fine, so why won't Power Query allow me to access the doc libraries too? For clarity, I don't want or need the actual documents in the document library to be connected to Excel (although the file names would be useful). My specific usecase is when I have an InfoPath document library with all the data that is relevant to me promoted to SharePoint columns.
