Unable to open OneNote Notebook from share point in OneNote Desktop

Hi,

I've Microsoft OneNote installed as part of the Microsoft Office Professional Plus suite on my desktop at work. Now I'm trying to open a OneNote notebook hosted in OneNote Web App on share point at work.

1. I can open the note book in the OneNote web app where there is a link "Open in OneNote - Office".
2. I click on this link
3. My office - OneNote starts-up and starts to download the Note book, I see the progress bar running towards completion in office - OneNote
4. I get error "OneNote has encountered a problem and complete this operation"

Here is what I've tried:

• Installing hot fix - KB 2523130
• Installing Windows Essentials SDK
• Running Office - OneNote in compatibility mode > All options includ. Vista etc.
• Permissions are all OK

Help with this will be greatly appreciated!!
