Hi All,
As per my understanding SharePoint gives BI capability through Performance Indicator and Excel Services. I suppose there is no other component in SharePoint that gives BI capability, correct me if I am wrong here. Performance indicator solves just a particular problem and Excel has it’s own limitation. I am not sure excel can give full BI capabilities except couple of charts used in BI. I am not aware the performance aspects of these excel chart on millions of records.
I am wondering do customer uses the SharePoint product for BI capabilities in real?
