Content Type - Configure Key Filter behaviour

Hello All,

I have a question. It is about SharePoint 2010.

Here is the scenario:

I have created a Content Type named Customer and it inherits from the "Document" content type. The Customer content type has columns Customer Name and Grography.

I have used this content type in a document library. This document library has both the content types available while uploading the documents to it - the default Document content type and the new Customer content type.

Out of all the documents uploaded to this document library, some are uploaded using the default Document content type whereas a few others are uploaded using the Customer content type.

In Library Settings --> Advanced Settings --> Configure Navigation Hierarchies as well as in Configure Key Filters, I have selected Content Type as selected field.

Now my question is: In the actual document library page, its showing me the Key Filters section in Left Nav Bar. But this section is only showing Content Types (Document and Customer) as drop down choices by which I can filter the document. But its not showing me actual columns of the content type (Ex: Geography). Is there any way using which I can see those columns here and I can perform filter operation on the COLUMNS of the content types and not only the actual content types?

Many thanks in advance.
