Hello - I am using Sharepoint 2010. I have two custom lists but only one list has any items. I am looking for a way to copy items from the one list to the other. I DO NOT want to use a workflow because when I tried that, the version history did not get copied over, and this includes the muti-line text fields that are in the append-only mode. I am hoping that there is a manual way by going through either the Admin Site or something in the Site Settings of the site itself. I could even do a one-time timer job if I knew of the code that could get it done. I have seen some references to a site manager, but I cannot find that. I also have seen several other posts concerning this topic but can't seem to find the exact scenario I am in. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
