Search not working after adding the server to DNS

Hi,

I'm using SharePoint 2010. I started setting up the site on the server (http://myserver) that was not part of DNS. I used the server name to set up the search and everything worked properly. After that I added the server to DNS to let the users use a friendly name (http://intranet).

Here are what I did after doing DNS:

- Added Alternate Access Mappings

   Internal URLZonePublic URL for Zone

   http://myserverDefaulthttp://myserver

   http://intranetIntranethttp://intranet

- Updated Start Addresses 

- Started Full Crawl

Problems

1. In Crawl Log, it says "sps3://intranet The object was not found"

2. I was able to use Advanced Search. The results came up correctly. However, If I enter a keyword in the search box on the top, it wont work as shown below.

What am I missing. Please advise.
