Hello,
I am currently searching for a Solution how to replace the default SharePoint Icons with Custom ones. My customer would like to change mostly all Icons in SharePoint 2010, so that the Icons does fit the Corporate Design Guidelines. Nevertheless the easiest way would be to replace them directly in the 14-Hive, but as far as I know, this would return the farm into the state of unsupported, in fact that normaly no default files by SharePoint should be replaced or edited directly.
What would be the best possibility to implement them? Is there any chance to do it in the code? Or do I have to customize every single XSLT-Template?
