I deleted three columns from a custom list in Sharepoint Designer (by clicking "Delete") as well as a list workflow in order to decrease the number of lookup columns in the list. The columns seem to have been deleted completely from Sharepoint Designer and from the list of columns under List Settings in the actual browser.
But when I go to modify the view (several days later) it appears that these columns (including the workflow status column) still exist in the options of which columns I want to be displayed. This leads me to believe the columns still exist somewhere, causing the lookup limit to be reached unknowingly.
Is there any way to completely remove a column from SP?
SP and SPD are v 2010.
