Hello everyone,
I am working with SharePoint 2010 and I have encountered a design issue after setting the correct render mode for browsers. The next few screen shots will demonstrate the issue:

This is the correct behavior while you press the Save & Close drop down arrow, and please notice the settings for browser render: Browser Mode IE8 / Document Mode IE8 standards
Now, let's take a look at the issue.

Same mouse clicks, only different results, however with different browser settings.
Browser Mode: IE8 / Document Mode: Standards
Browser Mode: IE9 / Document Mode: Standards
Browser Mode: IE10 / Document Mode: Standards
Now all of these started to happen immediately after using <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge,chrome=1" /> to have the correct render support for latest browser version and fix some cross-browser issues. However, you can see what happens when using Document Mode in Standars.
What's the problem and is there a fix for this? And please don't tell me to force back the browsers to render in IE8 Document Mode, because for one is not applying fir IE7, and it generates a different set of problems for us, and second, FF and Google Chrome are part of the requirements back here.
We already tested it with a brand new website, out of the box Microsoft settings. The issue persists.
What is to be done?
Thank you,
Cristi Antohi
