I have a custom sharepoint group, in which I have domain users added to it.
Is it possible to add other domain users to the sharepoint custom group.
I have a scenario in which I need to send e-mail to the members of the custom group. I would like to add non domain users to the custom group.
Consider an example in which you a have Site, which is internally used by the organization. You have a custom list. On Item Added event, sending mail to the members of a particular group and also notify your customer as well. (Here the customer is not part of the organization)
Note:Customer AD details are not synchronized with the site's Active directory.
Has anyone faced this kind of scenario. If yes, how did you solve it?
