Editing the Text layout OOTB

Hi,

I have a Homepage on SP 2010 with Three column layout. I need a border for each column. I tried to figure out which style is being used to the page and it seems there is a table with each column corresponding to 33.3% width. But When I try to edit the HTML source of the page. I cannot edit the <td> element or <tbody> what I can so is basically inside <td> element. Is there a way that I can define an inline style for the entire <td> so that I can have it for every column instea dof having a <div> in each <td> and defining a border for that?
