Sharepoint 2010 Document Set, Upload multiple files function redirects users to root level site.

Hello,

We are using sharepoint server 2010 with,office web apps server the site we are having the issue with is using the 2007 UI.

We are using the OOTB Document Set content type on the OOTB "shared Documents" library at a site called for example  http://example.abc.com/sites/sales/shared%20Documents/ . library users are able to create a new document set, the issue is when users use the "Uload Multiple Documents" option they are prompted to select the files they wish to upload then when they click the done button they get redirected to our root level site http://example.abc.com.

When using the 2010 UI it all works without issues. We need to keep this site in 2007 UI until we have all of our users trained.

has anyone experienced this before?
