I have read through some of the postings around this permission value but did not see the answer I was looking for.
We have a request from some site managers to have the ability to modify a web page name. The thought is to provide them with Manage Web Site permission (or add it to our created Site Manager permission) but I have a concern.
In order to protect our SharePoint site architecture we do not allow site managers to create new web sites. The research I found on the Manage Web Site permission level says it defaults with Full Control. That would mean they are allowed to create new sites.
Is there a way to provide site managers the ability to modify what is on a page, like title and text, without providing them the ability to create new sites?
We are using SharePoint 2010.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
