We are constructing a portal for a customer and we are evaluating different portals. We originally started off with Java requirements and are looking into portals like JBOSS and Liferay. SharePoint was brought up as another alternative so I'm trying to get equivalent features that SharePoint provides that are similar to those portals. I know that those ones are Open Source and are built on Java framework so to say, and SharePoint is built on ASP.Net framework, so how can I find out what kind of features SharePoint offers when comparing them to one of the portals mentioned? And example would be, SharePoint's functionality with Oracle servers, or Java Portlets? I understand SharePoint may or may not support certain things, but if they don't what is the MS equivalent? Thanks!
