Automatic login to SharePoint portal after AAM

Hi All

I have installed vanilla SharePoint 2010 on server name PORTAL

it was taking automatic login of windows AD user according to permission given when I was usinghttp://portal but after applying alternate access mapping, it ask for password to login. How can I fix so that SharePoint takes windows AD user credential by default.
