List Items Scrolling horizontally on Home Page using JQuery

Hi,

I am trying to scroll the list items horizontally in a web part (mostly Content editor as we use it for JQuery)or so on the SharePoint 2010 site home page. I figured out JQuery can do quite a lot of stuff with SharePoint. But not sure if it can scroll the list items like I mentioned. If anyone feels that it can be done, kindly let me know the resource for this or how to do this.
