I have to create a portal to manage documents for medical device manufacturer. There are various divisions under which there are many Business units and business units contains the Product Families.
10-15 Divisions
Each Divisions 5 Business Unites
10-40 Product Family in each division , which contains Document Sets.
The database is expected to grow at 75 GB per year. Documents as many as 75 GB total will be uploaded.
I want to implement document expiration to manage the data so that the inactive data is migrated to other site so that the performance is improved.
My thoughts So far..
I should make sub-sites for Divisions ( or should i create document libraries for each division) .
Then Lists based on business units and then folder structure inside the lists for Product family.
How could I utilize record center in this project for these requirements.
