I am facing problem with file property and item property sync. There is a custom property in msword doc file. There is column with same name in content type which is attached with sharepoint 2010 document library. when I am uploading or editing msword file using upload/edit form the property sync is working properly.That means promotion and demotion is working properly. But when I am drag and drop the file using windows explorer then property promotion is not working. Same case for the cut and paste in windows explorer. There are several folders in document library. According document location my custom event receiver change the item property. In the case of cut and paste item properties change properly but file property (msword custom property) showing the old value.
That means document property promotion demotion/document parser is not working for windows explorer. How can I solve this issue. Can I run the document parser anagrammatically?
If any body have any idea please help me.
