I am getting this error:
Restore-SPSite : "http://qc.site.com/SalesTest" cannot be used as a site name. Site names cannot contain
certain reserved words and cannot begin with an underscore. Please enter a different name.
Goal: Copy production Sales site collection to QC farm.
This is what I did:
1. Created a Content database (QC_Sales_Test) in the target farm using CA
2. Backup Sales site collection from production (http://prod.site.com/Sales)
3. Restore-SPSite -identity http://qc.site.com/SalesTest -path Q:\Bkup\Sales.bak -contentdatabase QC_Sales_Test
Notice: My url in the target site is different. I already have Sales site collection in QC and they want to keep that because they are doing some testing. So SalesTest is the new url on target farm where source is sales.
