I have been looking all over the various forums that I can think of but I am unable to find the answers.
Currently we run a sharepoint 2010 environment for our intranet site. With our remote branch offices using either a T1 or DSL connection many of the remote users are experiecing performance related issues with the videos we have on the site.
I have found information about IIS Media Services and being able to throttle the data transfer of the media, but I am unable to wrap my head around the concept. Does IIS Media Services throttle video files being played within Sharepoint 2010 either through the Web Part, or the Silverlight plugin.
Thank you
