Backround: I'm building a completely custom Intranet site for the company I work for. They currently have around 100,000 pictures that they use Picasa to manage. To fix this, I am incorporating a Picture Library into the Intranet site I am building for them. There, the pictures will be parsed down and managed using the picture editor. Here's the problem I am running into:
I have created a new Picture Library and when I navigate to it, I get a message that "There are no pictures to show in this view." This is false, as I have uploaded multiple pictures and I can verify that they're there when I navigate to them in Windows Explorer. In order to get the pictures to display within the library, I have to:
1.) Open the Picture Library
2.) Open the folder in which the pictures reside
3.) Click "Upload Multiple Pictures" from the Upload drop down tab
4.) Click "Go back to "[Library Name]"
And here is where the pictures show up and will display within the library. Also, I can view the pictures as a Slide Show or open in Windows Explorer and see the pictures just fine. I've Googled on it for a few days now and can't find anything remotely relatable to my issue. I can't imagine i'm the only one having this issue. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!!
