App pool recycle and SharePoint workflow perfromance

Hi guys,

Each time after my application pool recycling my custom workflow takes a few minute to compile again. While this compiling if I open a task on Outlook I get the"This task could not be updated at this time" massage.

I have added more RAM and CPU on my WFE server but still get the same error for the first time.I also have SPWakeUp scripts setup to avoid performance issue but still no luck.

I cam across with the Overlapped Recycling and I was wondering maybe I need to turn off overlapped recycling? I am not sure that would resolve. Here is the Overlapped setting at the moment:

I also wonder whether I need to increase RAM and CPU on my database server or not!??

I get the "Note: Due to heavy load, the latest workflow operation has been queued...." massage each time after compile the workflow and was thinking that could be only related to the performance on the DB server.

For SharePoint 2007 the following article has been recommend:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/970199#appliesto

However I am using SharePoint 2010 and Microsoft Office Plus in which it seems like that I do not have the 'Form Template Installer Tool' component.

I have tried so many options such as connect my Task list to Outlook and make sure i have full access to the Task list but still the same massage for this first time after Application pool recycling occurred.I was hoping if you can help.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,Balai
