Scenario: In a development site I created reusable workflows with SharePoint Designer 2010., associated them to content types and everything works fine.
In the production site, the content types will not add the workflows. It returns a generic “Unexpected Error” message. I have associated the workflows to libraries and verified that they work.
After comparing the two sites I have found some features that were not activated on the production site. They were activated but no change.
Is there a setting somewhere that needs to be set? What steps can be taken to make sure any required features are activated?
