I am working on a new environment that was made by copying the databases from another environment. Everything copied over and works fine, except the taxonomy fields in some of the site collections. Some of the site collections fields work perfectly, just as they did in the other environment, some show the default value in red with the broken underline, but when you click the icon, or manually attempt to enter a value, all of the values are there and will work correctly when selected.
I have tried everything I could think of to fix this and am in a tight spot. Looking on line I found only one post with similar issues saying that the term set's ID in the site collection were the same as the original IDs and changing them manually and saving fixes it. I am not sure how this is done or if there is another answer.
Any ideas?
