I'm new to SharePoint so pardon my lack of knowledge. I have some libraries and lists set up in my site, but have been asked to change my site's Welcome Page from the default. The page needs to simply show an icon (some attractive graphics) with an
available search textbox that will search all list items, document titles and document content for the value the user types in, returning the links to all matches in a list. If nothing is returned we want it to prompt them if they would like to e-mail our
team with a request. I've been told to try to avoid writing code to get the site going. Will this set up require a custom "coded" page, or can it be done with the basic SharePoint editing tools? Thanks.
