Hi, the msdn white paper saids "There is a configurable default of 50,000 unique permissions per list; however we recommend that you consider lowering this limit to 5,000 and for large lists consider using a design that uses as few unique permissions as possible". I want to know how to count the unique permissions in a list.
e.g. I create a custom list, and add only one item, then i break the permission inheritance from the list item, then the unique permissions in the list is ONE or the number of the permission levels(or roles) that are granted on to the list item? Thanks.
