Integration between Share Point and Adobe Indesign

I'm using Share Point under Office 365 cloud services.

Currently we have full control over an Office document with regard to Checking in and Checking out a document. Any document checked out cannot be edited in Web or local Word application. 

We would like to get as close as possible with Adobe's InDesign publishing Software. Since one requires a local InDesign client SW in order to edit a file, the checked out file will be downloaded to the local PC for editing and uploaded for checking in.  

Is there any SharePoint Interface available either by MS or by Adobe we can use? 

I would appreciate any help you can provide on this subject.
