Folder cannot be deleted because it contains items which are either on hold or declared as records

Hi

I am trying to modify the name of a Docset in Sharepoint 2010 but I'm receiving the error message:-

"Folder cannot be deleted because it contains items which are either on hold or declared as records"

• I'm not trying to delete a folder
• There are definitely no items within the Docset which are on hold or declared as records?

I am getting the same error message when attempting to delete the Docset

We are working with a Year by Year > Month by Month > Case File Folder Structure.

For info. there are approx. 4700 documents (4300 records and 400 docs).

The case file Docsets contain between 3 and 75 documents.
