I have a SharePoint 2010 task list that has a workflow tied to it that sends out emails based on some criteria (not complicated). This workflow is set to start when an item is changed. I have also set an alert for myself to monitor when an item changes. My issue is that I am getting alerts saying the tasks have been changed, butsometimes the workflow does not trigger. I can look at the workflow history to verify that it has not run, but my alert tells me that the item has changed.
Can anyone help resolve this inconsistency?
