Hi
I'm having some issues deploying reports from BIDS to a SharePoint site, I am faced with constant login prompts, so I'm assuming there is some sort of authentication failure going on somewhere, though I'm not sure where.
My setup is as follows:
- SharePoint 2010 SP1 + October 2011 Hotfix running all services
- SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 running the SharePoint services databases
- SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 + (SharePoint 2010 SP1 + October 2011) running as a reports server, includes database management system, SSRS and SSAS
I've added the reporting server to the farm with no problems, and run the Reporting Services Integration in Central Administration, and it reported successfully applying all settings. We are using Windows authentication on our Farm (NTLM) and I've made sure the SSRS services are running with a domain account. I've checked the reportserver.config file and the only authentication mode in there is RSWindowsNTLM. I can browse to the SSRS report server url from every computer I have tried, without login prompts, and can see that is connected to SharePoint because it displays a list of my site collections.
The site I'm trying to deploy to is a Business Intelligence Centre subsite, that sits in the main site collection. I have created a report library to hold any reports. The publishing setting I have are:
- Target Server URL - http://{hostheader}/subsite
- Target Report Part Folder - http://{hostheader}/subsite/Reports/Report Part
- Targer Report Folder - http://{hostheader}/subsite/Reports/Report
- Target Data Source Folder - http://{hostheader}/subsite/Reports/Data Source
- Target Dataset Folder - http://{hostheader}/subsite/Reports/Dataset
The Hostheader is registered on the domain DNS server to point to the main SharePoint Server...
I've crawled through Bing and Google for days, however can't find a solution so hoping someone has any ideas that I might try!?!
Thanks
