PerformancePoint KPI with Excel Services Data Source Problem

Here's the scenario:

We have reference data that is stored in a Excel workbook.  We want to use this workbook as a Data Source for a PPS KPI.

Here's an example of the data:

I have created the Data Source and I can view the data fine in the data previewer in the Dashboard Designer.  I then go to create my KPI based on that data source.  I choose to change the data mapping for the Actual metric and change it to use my new Excel Services data source.  That brings up the screen where you choose the measure and if you want any dimension filters.

I've selected a measure and I want to filter on a column.  When I choose what "members" I want to choose as my filter I get a screen like this:

So here's the problem.  I only ever see one entry in this member selection screen.  As you can see by the data, there should be an entry for "Dewey" and "Allen".  I have set up the columns as Dimensions and facts appropriately.

So is there some setting I'm missing or is this just a short-fall of using Excel services.

As a side note: I have noticed this problem with SharePoint lists as well.
